BorderSenses’ (a 501 (c) (3) non-profit literacy organization) mission is to support emerging and established artists in the border community by increasing literary, literacy, and artistic awareness, and providing venues for artistic expression through literary events, publications, and outreach projects.

BorderSenses is committed to being a partner to academic institutions and writers/artists in the area. Our vision is to help the border community truly harness its educational and creative potential.

Our program is dedicated to serving the underserved and underrepresented sections of the community. We are proud to have a strong presence in the Hispanic community, and our program is especially popular among women.
